Last month (July 2026) I traveled to Dawsonville, GA to go to a lake house my father had rented for some family vacation time. After much driving, I arrived in the evening, grateful to rest and reconnect with my dad. The rental home was gorgeous and situated on a hilly bank of Lake Lanier.
